How’s this for a takeoff!
This is a picture of my son taken on the northshore of Oahu. The photographer North Shore Surf Photos. Excellent and Professional photography. Jared and his friends enjoy sponge boarding on the north shore where Oahu's most famous surf spots are located. I'll post more pictures once I get my photo gallery in place.
WordPress Newbie Goes Wild!
Starting a new Word Press Blog can be intimidating if you're a newbie. It’s even more intimidating if you were to get into code hacking and customizing your blog. With all the Word Press plug-in and themes to choose from it could be a little over whelming for a person who is just starting to blog. In my opinion as a newbie, Word Press is the way to go. I used Frontpage
What I’ve Been Up Too…
Lately I've been busy concentrating on building a new business online. In fact I have a couple of things going right now. Since my wife and I closed our t-shirt printing business of 14 years, I've been researching the Internet for an online business to start. My goals are to provide the both of us, the income that we lost from closing our business and the lost from our 401K that fell victim to a bad economy. I think it's time to lay the foundation for a new venture and prove that a conventional business is not the only way to ...
The 789 Chevy
I got an email from my son a couple of days ago and in that email I had pictures of a custom car named 789. This custom made car was designed by Kanter Concepts out of Santa Ana California. The concept and creation was inspired by 3 classic cars, a 1957 Chevy Bel Air which is the front end, a 1958 Chevy Impala which makes up the mid section and interior of the car and finally a 1959 Chevy tail section and the very recognizable tailfins of the 59 Chevy. These are world classic cars. These cars will always remain classic’s. ...
Steady Growth In Kapolei!
Kapolei has been steadily growing with Costco, Target, Petco and Sports Authority having their grand openings this past weekend. My wife and I took a drive to Safeway and took a couple of pictures on the way home. I'm excited about all of the growth that’s happening out here during these hard times. The openings of these new companies provided a lot of jobs that are badly needed out here on the west side of Oahu. It’s nice to see that the parking lot was crowded and lot of shoppers spending money tonight. I just hope that our economy starts to ...
Diamond Head…
This picture of Diamond Head (Le'ahi) was taken from Lagoon Drive the south side of Honolulu International Airport. One of Hawaii's famous landmarks, Diamond Head is known for it's beautiful costal views and hiking trail. The hiking trail to the summit was built in 1908 as part of Oahu's coastal defense system. It's just one of Hawaii's most visited trails. Its English name was given by British sailors in the 19th century, who mistook calcite crystals embedded in the rock for diamonds. I'm no photographer but I just bought myself a digital camera to take snapshots for my new blog. This ...
